7 PM ― 10 PM
Join us on March 4th for Delink - a screening of several video/media artists (Jennifer Chan, Danièle Dennis, Jennifer Dysart, and Philip Leung) and a following discussion.
Delink is the first event in a series of programming aimed at creating a platform for diverse voices in the realm of media art practices. The Delink series will include talks, screenings, workshops, and panels exploring different strategies for exhibiting, talking, and writing about all forms of video and media art, such as film, animation, performance, digital, and more. The goal of this series is to generate a platform for more inclusive discussions, showcasing eclectic artworks, and ultimately to offer a space to expand these practices. Charles Street Video and Bunker 2, along with the participation of local artists and scholars, will collaborate to facilitate educational and accessible programs for local communities in and around the GTA.
We hope to engage in a critical discourse opening up new dialogues regarding video art practice in Toronto. The event is PWYC, with all proceeds going to the artists involved.
